What to discuss
Identify chimneys, skylights, service penetrations, adjacent walls and gutters in the project brief. Ask who designs, supplies and installs each interface and how it relates to the roof manufacturer’s details.
Build a clear scope
A proposal should describe the finished drainage arrangement and any retained components. Use site-specific design and product guidance; a generic image cannot establish flashing dimensions or suitability.

Request the product documentation, a relevant scope, evidence of applicable qualifications and current coverage, and references you can check. Installation methods and warranty terms must be confirmed for the proposed project.
