Choose the reader’s question
Identify the decision the project helps explain: a profile choice, access constraint or a phased replacement. Start with the customer’s brief and your actual role. A focused story can be more useful than a large set of unexplained photographs.
Record stages with permission
Retain before, during and finished images where safe and authorised. Write short notes while the details are available. Keep private customer information out of public captions and confirm permissions before naming a location or individual.
Explain decisions without inventing results
Describe what was specified, the constraint addressed and what was handed over. Use measured outcomes only when supporting records exist. A story can be compelling without claiming unverified savings, lifespan or weather performance.
Link to the next useful step
Connect the project story to the related service and an accurate enquiry route. State who supplied photographs and disclose commercial relationships where relevant. The concept gallery on this site illustrates styles; it is deliberately separate from verified contractor project submissions.
Capture a story the customer can understand
With appropriate permission, record the starting problem, selected approach and the important coordination decisions. Photograph the wider building and the relevant details, then explain what each image shows. Distinguish the contractor’s own work from supplier imagery or generated illustrations. A useful project story helps a reader understand a comparable decision without implying that every building will have the same result.
Keep a publication record
Save the approved captions, project scope and permission to publish with the selected images. Confirm which business performed the work and whether the location may be identified. Remove unnecessary personal details and do not publish access information. If several trades contributed, describe their roles accurately. Link the story to the relevant service guide and enquiry page so readers can take a sensible next step after learning from the project.
